Smartphone Skills Workshops

We are delighted to be able to host another set of digital workshops, thanks to generous funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.  From 19th September 2025 we will host a series of smartphone skills workshops based at The East Finchley Constitutional Club, not far from the East Finchley Library. The workshops will be free to participants, but booking will be required as we only have a limited number of places available.

Farah from Groundwork will give you insights into the NHS app, what you can do online, eg: ordering prescriptions, changing doctors etc. and answer any questions you may have.

iPad artist Norma will show us how she uses her iPad to create art (I couldn’t get David HOckney to come along!), and Toni will introduce us to Canva - the best app for creating posters and invitations etc.

WhatsApp intermediates

Ticks, Sending photos and videos with WhatsApp. Finding them quickly (search media). Chats, settings, voice messages, voice transcribing,WhatsApp for iPad.
